How long does ceramic coating protection last?
Our ceramic coating provides up to 5 years of protection, depending on how the vehicle is maintained and cared for. The coating helps protect your paint from UV exposure, chemicals and everyday environmental contaminants while providing a deep gloss and hydrophobic finish.
Does my car need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes. Paint correction is included in every Polished Detailing ceramic coating package. Before applying the coating, we decontaminate and prepare the paint, then machine polish it to remove swirl marks and other paint imperfections. This creates a clean, smooth surface for the ceramic coating to bond to.
What does ceramic coating protect my car from?
Ceramic coating helps protect your vehicle's paint from UV exposure, chemical contaminants, environmental contamination and everyday wear. It also creates a hydrophobic surface that causes water and contaminants to bead and run off more easily, making the vehicle easier to maintain.
Does ceramic coating protect against scratches and stone chips?
Ceramic coating adds a layer of protection to the paint and can help resist light marring and everyday environmental wear. However, it does not make your paint scratch-proof or protect against stone chips. For significant stone-chip protection, paint protection film (PPF) is a more suitable option.
How long does the ceramic coating process take?
Yes. We can detail vehicles that have accumulated significant dirt and grime or haven't been professionally cleaned for some time. The time and work required will depend on the condition of the vehicle, and heavily soiled vehicles may require additional cleaning.
What's the difference between the three ceramic coating packages?
The three packages provide the same ceramic coating process and inclusions, with the price determined by vehicle size:

All packages include the full preparation and paint-correction process. Wheel-face coating and glass coating are available as optional add-ons.
Can ceramic coating be applied to a new car?
Yes. Ceramic coating can be an excellent way to protect a new vehicle's paint from the beginning. Even new vehicles can have light swirl marks, transport contamination or other imperfections, which is why we prepare and correct the paint before applying the coating.
How do I maintain my car after ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating makes your vehicle easier to maintain, but it still needs proper care. We recommend regular washing using appropriate car-care products and avoiding harsh cleaning methods or automatic brush car washes that can introduce scratches and reduce the appearance and performance of the coating.
